2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
1 Egg
1/2 cup Dried Haskap Berries
3/4 cup Unsalted Blanched Almonds


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place a sheet of parchment on a baking sheet.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder and sugar in a large bowl. Add butter and mix until crumbly. Add egg, milk and vanilla extract. Mix again. Knead with hands, adding dried haskap berries and almonds. Make two rolls, 25 cm long.
  3. Place on a baking sheet. Bake for 35 mins on a middle rack.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool for 20 mins. Slice diagonally into 2 cm slices using a sharp bread knife. Place slices on the same baking sheet and bake again at 350°F for 25 mins.
  5. Turn halfway through cooking.
  6. Let cool on the rack, top with haskap jam and enjoy!
